You can share access to the items you manage in the Chrome Web Store by adding additional members to the publisher that owns them.
Create a publisher
Publishers own one or more items in the Chrome Web Store. A publisher is created when you first register as a developer, and you can create one additional publisher if needed.
To do so, go to your Profile page and choose the Create a new publisher option. You will be asked to provide a name for the new publisher.
Add a member
In the Developer Dashboard, open the Settings page for your publisher and find the members table.
In the members table, choose "Invite member". Choose a role and an email will be sent to invite the user to join your publisher.
Roles
Each member of a publisher can be assigned a role that determines their level of access.
| Role | Description |
|---|---|
| Admin | An admin can take all actions of the other roles as well as manage members and their roles. Can delete the publisher. Includes permissions of the Editor role. |
| Editor | On top of the item manager permissions, an editor can change publisher settings including trusted tester accounts and organization publishing settings. Includes permissions of the Item manager role. |
| Item manager | Item managers can create new items, update item metadata and submit new packages. Can change visibility and distribution settings for an item. Includes permissions of the Viewer role. |
| Viewer | Read-only access to the publisher, including ability to see published and draft revisions for items. Access to analytics data in the Developer Dashboard and Google Analytics. |
Switch publisher
In the top right-hand corner of the Chrome Web Store Developer Dashboard is a pull-down that shows the publishers you are a member of.
